We are a 501(c)(3) fiscally sponsored project through Mannakin Theater and Dance Company in San Francisco. Donations are tax deductible.
Introducing the Dance Arts Community Project!
A fiscally sponsored project aimed at bringing Ballroom and Latin dance to underserved communities in Northern California.
Our mission is to bring the joy of dance to children and young adults in the Bay Area who lack the access to Ballroom, Latin and other culturally meaningful dance forms. We provide historically marginalized and underserved communities local access to dance with its rewards of fitness, self-expression, self esteem.
Moving to music is an essential component of the human experience and is a bridge that connects people, regardless of background or socioeconomic status. The opportunity gap for communities of color should not prohibit individuals from achieving their dreams.
Current Programs
We are currently running kids programs with the Performing Stars in Marin City and at the Al Boro Community Center in San Rafael.
